ChatGPT, OpenAI’s natural language AI chatbot, has been the talk of the town lately. Since the release of the first prototype in November 2022, the tool has taken the world by storm. As of the beginning of the year, ChatGPT already had over 100 million users, which makes it the fastest-growing tech software ever. Why, you might ask? The tool is accessible and very easy to use, which is precisely what makes it so popular.
We thought we’d write an article about this hot topic, so why not use ChatGPT to assist us? In total, it took us about 2 hours to research and write this article with the help of ChatGPT. If it wasn’t for this tool, that time would’ve at least been double. It was a very interesting experiment for sure because even though ChatGPT could help us, it did not know about relevant news we wanted to include in the article, such as the restrictions on ChatGPT in Italy. This means that ChatGPT is a useful tool, but research, as well as rewriting, remains crucial. So don’t worry copywriters, you don’t have to worry about AI replacing your jobs, as ChatGPT can function as an assistant rather than a threat.
Now, let’s dive into ChatGPT and its possibilities.
What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is an AI-powered chatbot, based on the GPT-3.5 architecture. It generates text in response to user prompts and is designed for various conversational purposes. To respond to user queries and questions, Chat GPT collects information from the content it searches on the internet and utilizes computational predictions.
From ChatGPT 3 to ChatGPT 4.
OpenAI recently upgraded its latest language-writing model software to GPT-4. GPT-4 is a powerful AI model that uses deep learning to understand images and text. Thanks to this new version, ChatGPT is able to produce human-like text with greater accuracy and fluency than ever before.
Although the next iteration of the model has officially launched, it’s currently only available for ChatGPT Plus, which is a paid subscription. Despite this, we know that Bing Chat is at least partially built on the GPT-4 language model, even if certain elements, such as visual input, weren’t available.
How can ChatGPT improve productivity?
Not only has ChatGPT been helping companies write marketing content, but it can also assist developers in writing or debugging code, giving funny answers, or summarising a book. At Dazzle, we’ve been using ChatGPT to generate ideas, write first drafts of texts and test the coding skills of the AI tool. Below are some examples of how ChatGPT can be useful for your business. It’s important to keep in mind that the content this tool produces still requires rewriting, but it gives you a first draft, which can save you and your team a lot of time.

The future of AI.
The future of AI is undoubtedly full of possibilities. As technology continues to advance at an unprecedented pace, we can expect AI to become increasingly integrated into our daily lives, from healthcare to finance to transportation. The development of more sophisticated algorithms, along with the continued growth of big data, will enable AI systems to learn and make decisions more accurately and quickly than ever before. The integration of AI in society is moving rapidly. Just last February, Microsoft announced that they were integrating the GPT-4 model into their search engine Bing.
However, as AI continues to advance, there will also be challenges to overcome, such as ethical concerns around privacy, bias, and the displacement of our daily jobs. For example, in April, Italy banned the use of ChatGPT with immediate effect. According to the Italian DPA, ChatGPT is breaching GDPR. Italy has given OpenAI a to-do list for lifting the ChatGPT suspension order.
The key to unlocking the full potential of AI probably lies in responsible development and deployment, with a focus on ensuring that these systems benefit society as a whole.
