Dazzle Quality Handbook.

Google Drive.

Google Drive is a cloud-based platform that can be used for both personal and business purposes. Google Drive contains Documents, Spreadsheets and Presentations, among others. At Dazzle , we use the functionalities of Google Drive day in, day out. This way we ensure that all documents are available in the cloud, anytime and for anyone with access. Smooth collaboration is definitely the biggest asset here!

Our Google Drive rules:

  • Folders
    • A folder contains either ONLY documents or ONLY subfolders. Both is not allowed.
    • To organise “timeless” folders logically we use “10”, “20”, …
    • Folders with time indication (e.g. projects) start with YYYYMM (i.e. not a day).
    • When you create a new folder, you mail it to your colleagues so that they are aware of it.
  • Documents
    • All documents start with the creation date: YYYYMMDD, followed by a number of keywords describing the document.
    • Google docs:
      • Only use this template: template.  See leaflet Dazzle>00_Templates.
      • Do not use blank lines (so no superfluous carriage return).
      • When your document is ready: select all text (CTRL+A) and format>clear_formatting (windows)
    • Google Sheet: only “poppins” as font.
  • Slides: only use our standard template.  See leaflet Dazzle>00_Templates.

We hate typos and grammatical errors: use a spell checker!
